HHM Webinar: Avances de la iniciativa de reforma de ley en materia de subcontratación

On the 4th of February 2021, a webinar was held in collaboration with Cámara Suizo-Mexicana de Comercio e Industria (SwissCham México) and Holland House Mexico to discuss the topic of changing reforms on outsourcing in Mexico. What does this mean for businesses small and large in Mexico?

The online event held 96 participants and featured prominent representatives including Pablo Lezama (General Director of AMECH), Francisco Martínez Domene (CEO of Adecco México), and Andres Sanchez (Managing Director of Randstad).

The Seminar began with a discussion lead by Pablo Lezama, who spoke about the current status of the proposals for the regulation of subcontracting in Mexico. This was followed by a Q&A with answers and explanations given in response to topics such as the uncertainties of when outsourcing/insourcing reforms will be adapted, how businesses and employment rates will be impacted, and what the government is willing to negotiate with private sectors.
