Kakinada, the coastal Indian city in Andhra Pradesh, is the 5th largest city in state of Andhra Pradesh, both in terms of population and economy. Kakinada is also a port city with natural harbour on the east coast of India. Kakinada was a Dutch settlement. Kakinada is one of the cities that were selected for the flagship Smart cities project of the Government of India after a competitive selection process involving more than 100 cities across India. Kakinada Smart City Corporation Limited (KSCCL), a special purpose of vehicle incorporated by the Kakinada Municipal Corporation, Government of Andhra Pradesh, has been entrusted work of Smart Solid Waste Management System in Kakinada Municipal area. KSCCL has called Request for Proposal (RFP) for supply of E- Rickshaw, E- Cart for Cargo & Waste management with comprehensive warranty and maintenance.
