Mid-term review, ASEAN Economic Community Blueprint 2025

Five years since its adoption as part of the ASEAN 2025: Forging Ahead Together, we celebrate the midterm mark of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Blueprint 2025. Commencing in 2020, the Mid-Term Review (MTR) provided ASEAN with a milestone to assess progress in the first half of implementation of the Blueprint, which coincided with a time of great disruptions as our world and lives were hit by theCOVID-19 pandemic. The MTR is timely as it provides us the opportunity to build on past lessons and offer recommendations to improve in the remaining five years of AEC Blueprint 2025 implementation and beyond.
