Skretting Nutreco Opening

Skretting Nutreco festively opens its new fish feed factory in Long An Province.

On Friday, 18 November, Skretting, the global aqua feed division of DBAV Member Nutreco, festively opened its new fish feed factory in Long An Province. The new factory will supply the growing market with an annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes. 

More than 500 customers, government officials, and relations joined the festive opening. 

Reflecting an investment of €24 million, the state-of-the-art facility will enable effective feed supply to key farming provinces in the Mekong Delta and beyond. With existing facilities at full capacity, the new factory will alleviate the current demand on supply. The new factory is located next to& Skretting Vietnam's existing facilities in Thuan Dao Industrial Zone, Long An.

Skretting is a world leader in the manufacture and supply of aquaculture feeds, making the business an essential link in the feed-to-food chain. Skretting applies knowledge of ingredients and the nutritional needs of fish and shrimp to develop innovations that achieve optimum nutritional value, sustainable production, and economic performance as we seek to fulfill our company-wide purpose of "Feeding the Future". The feed production in 2020 alone produced over 21 million portions of seafood per day globally.
