Meer over dit event
Probably everyone is aware that in Jakarta and many other cities in Indonesia, offices have opened again, malls are open, and restaurants are coming back in full swing.
The Dutch Business Network already started organizing events in small groups and with great success we recently organized the second ‘DBN Members’ Night Out’. We are planning more of these evenings in the months to come.
Today we are excited to invite you, after nearly a year, to a new and in-person DBN Breakfast Meeting at the Erasmus Huis (Dutch Embassy) located at Jl. Rasuna Said Blok C, No.3 in Kuningan, Jakarta on 28 October at 7.00 am.
Our Topic
Poultry in Indonesia is largely an agricultural sector that is growing through the demand for eggs and chicken-meat and through new innovations introduced by specialized companies in this sector. Many of these companies originating from Europe (Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands) and have been active in Indonesia since many years, improving the Indonesian agricultural sector with innovative systems and know-how. The current European companies active in this sector in Indonesia deliver process installations, have service divisions, laboratories, and representative offices. They deliver poultry genetics, hatchery & breeder equipment, slaughter equipment, and lighting systems. With all this technology and know-how they can provide everything needed for the poultry sector to improve this agricultural sector in Indonesia.
Two Speakers:
We invited two very interesting speakers: Kim Hendrix and Henry Hendrix, each representing a different company to the market of ‘layers’. They will present about their respective companies in more detail and will give you a remarkable impression of how far the technology and know-how of their companies has reached poultry farms today, improving the efficiency and quality of this agricultural sector.
- Did you know that a hen has four cones in her eye (humans have three) and that LED light can therefore improve the quality and quantity of eggs nowadays?
- Did you know that with the start of one Hen and one Rooster eventually 500 million eggs can be harvested of the same quality?
To these and many more aspects Kim and Henry will introduce you and they will give you an impression of how todays technologies serve this agricultural sector.
Please note:
- For this event we have a maximum capacity of 50 people
- Vaccination proof is required to be able to join the event and to enter the Dutch Embassy
