Executive Director DBAV and Consul General meet with HCMC Chairman Mai & Other Government Leaders

On 20 May 2022, Dutch Business Association Vietnam representatives were invited to attend a dinner meeting between HCMC leaders and foreign business associations with the presence of Mr. Phan Van Mai - Chairman of HCMC People’s Committee; Directors of departments and authorities, and representatives of foreign business associations in HCMC. 

On behalf of DBAV, Consul General, Mr. Daniël Stork - Advisory Board Member conducted a speech at the meeting.

He mentioned the Ready to Export program, subsidized by the Dutch government to enhance the capacity of Vietnamese SMEs to become long-term value chain partners of Dutch companies and multinational corporations as well as expressing the desire of DBAV to continue working with all stakeholders to drive innovation and sustainable growth in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam.

Consul General of The Netherlands in Vietnam, Mr Daniël Stork, also highlighted the remarkable Covid-19 recovery of Vietnam, and the excellent role of the government with the vaccination campaign,  and the upcoming celebration of 50 years of diplomatic ties between The Netherlands and Vietnam.
