As part of the Vietnamese Prime-Minister Pham Minh Chinh’s 3-day visit to The Netherlands, Board Members of the Dutch Business Association Vietnam / Netherlands Vietnam Chamber of Commerce (DBAV/NVCC), Netherlands Chapter, had the privilege to exclusively meet with Prime-Minister Pham Minh Chinh, in The Hague, on Monday 12 December.

The 15-day visa waiver program, which would enable Dutch nationals to travel to Vietnam more freely, was brought to the table and the Prime-Minister promised that the matter, including the regulations concerned, would be looked into thoroughly. He added that Prime-Minister Mark Rutte had raised the issue too, earlier that day.
DBAV (Netherlands) Board Member, Nga Dang, addressed the complexity involving bonded-warehousing of industrial commodities in Vietnam, whereby foreign traders are being locally taxed on their trading activities within the bonded-warehouse in Vietnam, creating double-taxation, thereby conclicting with international tax treaties. The Prime-Minister indicicated that the Prime-Minister Office will investigate the matter.
Prime Minister Chinh: " I hope for a continued fruitful cooperation between the two countries, in particular between the Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI)."
