Luxembourg as a knowledge capital and testing ground for the circular economy
The circular economy is more than a potential model for Luxembourg. It is an economic imperative. At December 11, 2014 Cluster Forum, the dynamic achievements of Luxembourg’s Innovation Clusters were presented. In describing those the Secretary of State for the Economy as well as cluster presidents and managers made one thing exceptionally clear: it is a priority for Luxembourg to diversify its economy. The circular economy was described as one way to support that diversification. The Ministry of the Economy requested the present study to focus on describing how to use materials in the circular economy to diversify Luxembourg’s economy so it is still more resilient.
