Agro-logistics in the Philippines is expected to grow with infrastructure development, technological adoption, and strategic investments. The country's strategic location, diverse agriculture, and expanding economy make it ideal for enhancing agro-logistics. Ongoing improvements in infrastructure and technology like in the Clark National Food Hub, are set to boost efficiency and sustainability in agriculture, benefiting farmers, consumers, and the economy.
The combined push of more export-oriented manufacturers and the uptake of e-commerce among domestic consumers has seen the need arise for innovations to support distribution and inventory management, for warehouses and for cold storage facilities.
From October 1 to 4 2024, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines will conduct a weeklong program for the business delegation from companies who have stated their interest in visiting Manila in conjunction with the annual AgriLink Conference and Exhibit. The programme will include a government visit, site visit to Clark, and B2B matchmaking.
The mission is aimed at Dutch companies and investors interested in exploring and investing in the agro-logistics sector in the Philippines. It provides a unique opportunity for them to engage with local stakeholders, to introduce their company, and explore potential partnerships and investments in the Philippine sector.
